Continued from the Park thread.
Shape-shifting always looked awkward. She couldn’t imagine how it would be like if you were in pain, and since this was Beast Boy’s, what, fourth time changing today, it must just be getting worse. Or numbed out by now. She knew the latter was bad, but it was much more comfortable, she knew that for a fact, typically numbing herself out for about a day, maybe less, after any battle. Sure, fighting was fine, but after the adrenaline left and her body had to recover, that was the real witch of it. It all hurt. A lot. She knew her body couldn’t be reacting well to the junk, either-hence the wanted numbness-but there was already enough weird stuff going on inside her she had stopped caring too much.
“Oh shiz!” She exclaimed, suddenly feeling him shift in her arms. Now that felt weird. She stopped where she was, not sure if she should hold on or drop him, or maybe lay him on the ground. It seemed a bit too late for the latter two, so she just tried to hold on best she could, balancing forward a bit before straightening up, looking down with clear surprise at the boy in her arms. As Red X, she wouldn’t have been phased in the least. But as Tori, this thing never happened to her. Ever. Her two sides were colliding, reacting in their respective ways.
“Bravo,” she said with a grin, her eyes teasing. This was going to make things a lot easier, at least. The point and follow thing, never really got the hang of that. She watched him adjust his arm, gently sifting them in hers. It didn’t really bother her that she was carrying him. She always carried her other friends-admittedly, they were girls-although usually they were on her back. This, if anything, was a bit relaxing to her lower spine. He was light and small, and she had no doubt that her weight would probably crush him. She was a good, what, six inches taller? Alright, maybe not that dramatic, but she was a tall, voluptuous girl. That would have looked really awkward, him trying to carry her.
“Oh, thanks,” she replied absentmindedly to his directions, looking to where he pointed. Her face was in a pleasant expression, changing to a slight grin as she realized the shore wasn’t sandy. She was not going to wreck her shoes, or fall in them on that sort of soft ground. It didn’t matter how much agility you had if you couldn’t balance for a moment, let alone when you’re trying not to show how much ability you have. She started walking on the path, amazed and feeling quite stupid that she hadn’t noticed this before. She had been looking so hard for something secretive, she forgot the obvious. Ugh. That was the most annoying outcome possible. About to make a comment on that, confirming that they just left an entrance for anyone, she looked back down at Beast Boy.
“No problem,” she said as easily and absentmindedly as she did with his directions, giving him another smile. He was being awfully mope-y, wasn’t he? All frowning with his ears down. It was like one of those electronic pets from the nineties-Furbies! That was it. He reminded her of a Furbie. She had ended slamming hers on the ground until it broke because it never shut up. Alright. Bad ending connection.
She reached the door of the Tower, actually having started humming on the way, then became a bit wary. Could she just walk on in? Was there a code or something Beast Boy had to say? Or was she just over thinking, again? She looked down to Beast Boy, hoping he’d at least let her in-she was thirsty, and she really wanted to take off her shoes. And she should probably put him in the med-wing or whatever, if the Titans-wait, they probably weren’t here in the first place, if BB was alone. Uh oh. She was starting to use nick names. That wasn’t a good sign. She quickly voiced at least one of her thoughts. “So, can I just…walk in? Or is there a lock or something?”

Moving the thread to the Lounge! Oops!
“Oh shiz!” her reaction made him smile somewhat, only to realize she had paused, had stopped walking completely. Oops? “Bravo,” He gave one of his cheesy wide smiles, but of certain, he was quite weirded out himself from being the one in the arms of a girl. “Oh, thanks,” He nodded lightly before looking over to the tower, pondering where all the Titans had gotten to by now, when he left, they were all there doing their own things, but anything could've happened in the time he was gone, got hit by a car and saved by a girl named Tori. For certain. Then it hit his mind! He gasped lightly before using his good arm to rummage through his pocket. There was nothing there.
He had lost his 'T' communicator, but it wasn't the end of the world, the Titans would either follow and track it to find him, and bring it back, or Cyborg could just make another one. “No problem,” the reply to his thanks made him feel better, he appreciated the help of course. “So, can I just…walk in? Or is there a lock or something?” He looked over to noticed that they had arrived, he grinned before nodding slightly, only to lift himself up to get out of her grip, he could stand well enough, and with that, slid out of her arms, but still clutching his arm and standing like a sort of withered flower.
He walked slowly towards the door before tapping a few buttons on the side of the door, before placing his right hand on the sensor there to confirm it. Cyborg had set it to Team Members and Allies, but any guests or outsiders had to press down a button and speak into a small microphone, just like at a rich persons gate. BB had never used this entrance like this, like as stated before, he would just usually fly his way in through his window. He turned around to face her before standing himself up more, a bit more straight before giving her a normal smile. Only for moments later, the door to slide open.
But the thing BB forgot about. Was the stairs. He sighed before giving a grumpy expression, his pointed ears tilted in a angry gesture. "Er.... I forgot about those." Using his right hand he put it on the back of his head before scratching it, quite confused on how to do this. He didn't really want to morph back again and didn't really wish to let her carry him. Without furthur notice or hesitation, BB entered, offering her to come in too before stepping up the steps, at first he thought it would hurt, but it didn't, it was just his arm mainly. Stupid car. He cursed it quietly under his breath before using the rail on the side to help himself up.
He would've expected Cyborg to build a lift or little elevator thing, and maybe it was time for him to. He would so have a word with him about it though, to make sure something like this, never happens again. - BB took himself quite comfortably up the stairs before reaching the top, the nice swirling set of stairs showed photos of the Titans without missions or work on the walls, BB, Robin, Cyborg, Star and Raven generally being friends, BB in the background always doing something stupid or bothering Cy or Raven, but it made the pictures more fun. He looked to them quite happily before waiting for Tori, from there, they would enter the Lounge.

Voice recognition. Highly unreliable, her mask covered her voice easily, and she just made an awkward “Ummm” which the sensors seemed to accept just fine. It was almost relaxing, realizing this was how the Tower took in new people. Alright, so Beast Boy’s hand scan was tricky, but she wouldn’t be going through as a Titan. Having said Titan out of her arms, however, was a relief. She rolled her shoulders, cracking her neck and twisted from side to side. Yep, that felt better. She adjusted her purse onto her other shoulder, craning her head to look up at the Tower before the door opened.
“Er….I forgot about those.” She stepped inside, looking up at the winding staircase. If she could whistle, she would have. Lots of stairs. She looked over to Beast Boy, watching him use the railing to get up, and do so quicker than she would have guessed. She let him go a few steps ahead, following behind in case he fell. Besides the fact it would be awkward to be waiting at the top before the host. She didn’t say anything, looking at the photographs of the Titans. Her fingers twitched at her sides as she saw how happy they looked, having plenty of time to examine the photographs. She found it hard to look away, and once she did she couldn’t stop looking at the swirling stairwell. Her mouth became dry, her head hurt, and she forced herself to close her eyes.
By the time she reached the top, a thin layer of sweat coated her body. She wasn’t breathing hard, but she was tired. If only it had been from the trek up the stairs. She ran a hand through her hair, standing next to Beast Boy and looking down at him with a small smile. She held her hands behind her back, gripping her fingers hard to stop them from twitching. She wanted to see the Lounge. She really did. But she had plenty of times, and she really needed to take care of this problem first. Then there was Beast Boy, she’d just quickly settle him down and bandage him up or something before taking care of her problem.
“Is there a med wing or something I should take you to?” She asked, her eyes darting around and staring at a photo, boring into the weave of the paper. She blinked hard, trying to not focus so much on one thing.

He watched her as she had looked upon the photos, and gave a smile as she caught up and stood next to him. “Is there a med wing or something I should take you to?” He grinned. There actually wasn't one, for the Titans usually heal each other with sorcery quite quickly (which was mainly Raven's doing) so didn't need it, but there was a medication pack under neath the sofa in a small stock draw. He walked down the corridor, passing the bedrooms before heading towards the doors to the main lounge, pressing one button to set it to automatic and walked through it easily, it sliding open to reveal a large massive lounge, a sofa which took up a semi-circle in a small down ditch facing a wide flat screen TV.
To the right of the entrance straight in was the Kitchen, and a most appealing view of the city ahead behind in a wide pane of glass. BB walked in before looking back to her. "You may help yourself to anything Tori." he spoke, hinting towards the kitchen if she wanted refreshments, before heading over to the sofa. He held his arm still before kneeling down and pulling out the drawers with his good arm, studying the medicines, bandages and other things which were inside a neat Medical Bag, but he wasn't sure which he needed. Giving a sigh he picked up the bag before placing it on the sofa, he watched Tori from a distance before looking back in the bag.
"Er... Do you have any idea what is what exactly?" he spoke with a wide cheesy grin again. Now this was the moment where BB was just being himself, and having no clue to serious situations. But he didn't consider this serious, his arm just hurt, and it couldn't be all that bad right? He looked through the medications again but didn't exactly understand them, he admitted that. He had not taken them, he never needed too. Even at that time when he was very sick from the weather, the Titans left him at the tower to feel better, and Raven had made a sort of chemical medicine which made him better, it was just different for the Titans, they never really needed this stuff.
BB sat there wondering where the rest of the Titans where, he gave a sigh before sitting back on the sofa comfortably, letting himself rest. He hoped that they'd be back soon. Not only to help, but to meet his new friend. Tori.

The young Tamaranean touched down on the roof of the tower, her crimson tresses moving over her shoulders as she leaned forward slightly placing two heaving bags onto the floor. She had been to the mall, it seemed everything had been on sale and much like any girl Starfire had seen this as a time to buy all the things she had wanted, of course her idea of what looked good and what others thought looked good were entirely different. She reached inside one of the bags and pulled out a large oversized hat with a flower on it, she giggled happily and placed it on her head, twirling around once in celebration. A muffled sound came from the shopping bag and Silkie popped his head up gurgling quietly as he wriggled his stubby little feet. “Does it not look wonderful!” she exclaimed to her pet retrieving him gently from the bag, running her hand along his stomach causing him to gurgle more.
She truly loved shopping and even though she had lived in this city for quite some time, there were still things that could amaze and excite her, street entertainers for one, she had truly believed that a man dressed as a robot was actually a robot and proceeded to inquire whether it could understand her before the man explained herself, she still could not understand why he had been masquerading as a robot, was he perhaps in disguise? Starfire sighed happily and placed Silkie in the crook of her left arm before retrieving her shopping from the floor, she wondered what her friends would make of the hat she had chosen and the various things she had bought for them, she had though about each gift extensively before buying it, especially in Raven’s case, she could be difficult to buy gifts for at times.
Heading towards the roof’s stairs, the young Tamaranean skipped a little humming to herself, would her friends be in the living room perhaps? She hoped they would all be together, it would make things easier than having to find them all but the thought of their faces as they received their gifts kept her optimism high. Flying down the stairs, Silkie still cradled in her arms Starfire zoomed along the corridors before landing outside the living room door which opened with its familiar whooshing sound, a sound Starfire had come to be fond of. Entering the room with a bright smile upon her face she looked around hoping to find the other Titans, but was a little dismayed upon seeing that only Beast Boy was here, but still, she could enjoy giving him his gift. “Friend I have been to the mall of shopping and....” she stopped suddenly noticing Tori her smile dropping if only for a second before she giggled. “You have brought a friend”.

Pathway. Security. Stairs. Hallway. Bedrooms. Lounge. Tori made a mental note of all of them, looking around in natural curiosity as anyone else in her position would. It would have been odd if she didn’t, acting as if she already knew the place. Which she kinda of did, thanks to the blueprints from the DEO, but it was never the same as the real thing. Besides, it had been dark, and she was just sprinting in and out for the suit, so she never got a look around. It all was rather plain, really, all metal and grey, high-tech no doubt, but still grey. Even a bit gloomy. That obviously changed once they reached the main lounge, her eyes widening and a small “Woa” escaping her lips before she could stop it. Now this was impressive-and look at that view of the city!
"You may help yourself to anything Tori." She gave another offhand thanks at his words. Her apartment was very nice, and expensive, but this was clearly not nearly as subtle. She paused at the top as Beast Boy went down to the couch, taking in the room, sifted past the shock. There were computer screens along the walls, and she’d be cursed if that giant television didn’t turn into one as well. She walked down the stairs, her boots clicking loudly on the hard floor, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. It took her awhile to notice Beast Boy looking at her, and she flushed with embarrassment. Here she was, gawking around, and he was still hurt.
"Er... Do you have any idea what is what exactly?" She quickly made her way down to the couch, sitting down on it and looking through the kit. Decent stuff. Clean. Still in perfect condition from when they bought it. Raven must be exhausted from having to heal everyone all the time, at the very least after when Tori was done with them as Red X. She pulled out the supplies she needed, her fingers twitchy and moving a bit too quickly. Her body knew after she was done, she could dart off to the bathroom. She needed to slow herself down, and not stare at the porous nature of the gauze for too long.
“Yep. Passed the exam on the third try,” she smiled, as if that was a brilliant thing. It wasn’t as if anyone really cared, as long as you could do it well. And what did a written exam mean when you could bandage someone up perfectly fine? She didn’t let him argue, if he even was going to, gently taking his arm and deftly patching him up. She strength and speed got slightly out of hand, but the job was well done and hopefully he wouldn’t notice. Just as she finally was about to ask her question, she heard the sliding of the doors easily and saw Starfire walk in. She froze, her heard pounding. She hadn’t forgotten about the time when she hit on her as Red X, but let’s just face it, Star was gorgeous. It was how her smile flickered when she saw her-did she know? How could she? A thousand questions raced through her jittery mind, her head starting to throb. She could suddenly feel every fiber of her clothing, itching and scratching against her skin, tights hugging her legs far too much.
And then there was the giggle. The I-just-caught-you-in-the-music-room-flirting-with-the-drummer giggle. Her face whipped to Beast Boy, the shock from her paranoid thoughts spilling out. She caught the tone of ‘friend’, once she mind registered it. She was a girl. She spoke the lingo. She slowly relaxed, and no matter how…well, not unattractive Beast Boy was, just not her type, it was better than her thoughts of Red X by a long shot, and easy to deny. And speaking of shots…
“Um, hi.” Tori said, smiling and giving her a wave, speaking quite a bit too fast. “Um, I’m Tori, Beast Boy was hurt and I brought him back here. Where’s the bathroom?”

That lacked. Big Time. D: </3 -fail-
“Yep. Passed the exam on the third try," That was good news to him of course, as she knew what she was doing, so it was best he left it to her. He watched her attend to his arm, felt a slight amount of pain before feeling a comfortable, and also seeing a neat and tidy bandage wrapped around it. As soon as he heard the 'whoosh' of the door, he turned around, only to spot Starfire, and his face brighten, with one of his nice smiles. “Friend I have been to the mall of shopping and....” a pause. “You have brought a friend”. he himself gave a wider smile, showing his teeth before putting his thumb up to her. "Yup!" he looked back to Tori with a normal smile.
“Um, hi.” BB watched Tori carefully, and something about her did seem to unease him. For a matter of a second, he could see something in her expression and eyes that she was thinking about something, and she seemed hesitant and.. well.. worried. “Um, I’m Tori, Beast Boy was hurt and I brought him back here. Where’s the bathroom?” The last question sort of surprised him, as it was rather random. BB stood, admiring the handy work of her bandaging skills quickly before moving towards Starfire as well as the doors. "If you just take a left down there, it's not hard to miss."
He looked to Tori with a smile then turned back to Star before heading back toward the sofa slowly, still aching from the car impact. He sat down slowly before putting his feet up on the small coffee table, waiting for his friend to join him, yet he watched Tori in hoping that she got it and knew where she was going.

Starfire smiled at Tori in greeting before her happy expression faded somewhat at hearing how Beast Boy was injured, a second later staring at the bandage that adorned his arm. She gasped loudly obviously concerned, how had this happened? “Friend you are damaged!” she cried dropping her shopping on the floor quickly before following him back to the couch, Silkie still cradled in her arm. She inspected the bandage carefully, wishing to prod it slightly but refrained from doing so incase she caused further damage to his arm. “Please, how did this happen? Does it hurt? Will you be alright?” she asked consecutively her eyes wide as continued to stare at the bandage. If she had perhaps been able to spend time with Beast Boy today this might not have happened and she could not help but feel a small touch of guilt for the accident that had befallen him.
Silkie moved in Starfire’s arm wriggling happily as he regarded Beast Boy, he didn’t understand what had happened and as far as he was concerned the bandage on his arm was nothing more than an interesting decoration, possibly an edible decoration. With a quick sharp movement Silkie jumped from Starfire’s arm and latched himself onto Beast Boy’s sucking on the bandage with a mixture of hunger and curiosity. Starfire jumped shocked at Silkie’s reaction before trying to pull him off of Beast Boy as gently as she could. “Silkie no, it is not food!” she cried eventually managing to detach his mouth from the bandage, it was a little wet it seemed but was still intact, which she was very thankful for. “Bad Silkie!” she whispered as the little grub burped loudly, he might not have eaten the bandage, but it seemed he had thought it tasted good.
Starfire looked to Beast Boy apologetically cringing a little, a nervous smile on her lips. “I am sorry, I think he is hungry” she said running a hand through her hair gently, why could Silkie not behave like other pets, surely they knew that a bandage was not edible?

I wished to reply to this before bed! D: Please forgive me!
“Friend you are damaged!” It almost scared the living daylights out of him, but he reassured himself quite quickly. “Please, how did this happen? Does it hurt? Will you be alright?” BB nodded with a smile. "Yeah, I'll be fine Star." he felt quite comforted by Star's worry, he gave her a thumbs up with his good arm and hand before giving her his usual Beast Boy wink. But it was quickly interrupted by the 'lovable' Silkie smothering his arm with the wet slobber and gurgles, he couldn't help but laugh with his squeaky tone before feeling a slight bit of pain.
“Silkie no, it is not food!” BB was quite amazed himself as he watched Star try her best softly to pull of the munching creature. “Bad Silkie!” he instantly looked to Star, then to Silkie then to his now drool covered arm before wiping the slobber away. “I am sorry, I think he is hungry” He smiled before laughing again. "Ah, that's alright Star!" He watched before giving Silkie a warming pet on the head, scratching softly trying to comfort the creature before looking back to star. He gave a warm smile again before looking to her bags.
"OOoooooo! So whad'ya get me!?" he spoke in a playful manner before standing and joyfully making his way over. He knew he shouldn't and in a sense knew that Tori would kill him for morphing, but he just loved to be the cheeky Beast Boy that he was and sniff to discover! He morphed quickly to the dog, the bandage still amazingly tight and wrapped around his left leg, before snuffling around the bags before giving loud barks off, like a hound dog when they find something! He sat down wagging his tail happily before morphing back and to feel the slight aches from the morphing.
He shivered slightly before making a strange face. "....Oooowww." He stood again before trying to get to his feet, only to shake his head rapidly and looked back to star with an innocent expression on his face. He didn't want her to know it hurt more than just his arm! He hated the Titans worrying about him whenever something happened, and what exactly would each of them say if they found out he got hit by a car!? Especially Star....

No problem. =D Funky timezones.
Tori watched Star fly over to Beast Boy, relieved, but naturally wanting a bone-crushing hug of greeting. Starfire’s personality was just so welcoming, open and warm, it was only natural to want to be close to her. It was really amazing how all the other Titans took her for granted sometimes, although Beast Boy certainly didn’t seem to be doing so now. Tori gave another shy smile, darting up the stairs and through the sliding doors. She broke into a run barely after they closed, almost frantically searching for the bathroom. Her head hurt. Her eyes were focusing and unfocusing. She was getting the chills. Her fingers were twitchy. Her legs were jittery. Her breath came quickly.
Left. Left. Left. Left. Left. If she hadn’t known the blueprints, she’d be lost. Thankfully, she did, and nearly threw herself into the bathroom, ripping open her purse and unzipping the inside pocket with too much force, literally ripping it. Well, it had a lifetime warranty, at least, she couldn’t help but think, even as she pulled out a handful of stuff and halfway threw it on the counter. The stuff looked entirely out of place in the spotless, metal bathroom; a few violently green lollipops, a needle filled with glowing red liquid. Altogether, they were probably worth as much as that giant TV in the living room, hence the reason they were usually stolen or gained through stolen money. She pulled out an alcohol swab from her back, rolling up her sleeve and avoiding looking at herself in the mirror.
"....Oooowww." Tori followed the sound out of the bathroom, clearly much more relaxed than before. She hummed a bit to herself, her bag securely on her arm, even as she saw Beast Boy clearly in a bit of pain on the couch. Thankfully she had missed the Silkie-incident or the dog-changing incident, the latter she had enough of for today. As she came back to the couch, looking nervously to the curious Starfire and trying not to stare at Silkie-it was adorable, in a disgusting sort of way. She looked back at Beast Boy, a wide grin on her face, the sheen of sweat freshly rinsed off, and her hair brushed neatly back into its right-side part.
“Need some Advil?” She offered, keeping her eyes subtly low. Her veins were much more red than before, and her pupils eclipsed her irises. The veins in her arms were slightly more prominent than before, mainly like some guy’s arms or malnourished girls. None of that she let herself linger on, for then they would start to notice. It was amazing what you could dust under the rug, if you gave something else to focus on. She rummaged back through her back, easily finding the Advil, along with some other things if for some reason he was picky.

Silkie gurgled happily, wriggling his legs in excitement as Beast Boy petted him, it seemed that what he had just done deserved some praise, and being a grub it was unlikely he understood that it was not acceptable behaviour, much like a dog, but Starfire loved him regardless even if he was a handful at times. Starfire giggled happily as Beast Boy made his way over to her shopping sniffing it in his dog form, she really loved Beast Boys ability to morph especially when he turned into a kitten, and it was just so adorable that no one could possibly resist him. She placed Silkie gently on the top of the couch before approaching Beast Boy, watching him with fascination and delight as he rummaged his nose through the bags.
It was always fun at the tower, and she only wished that everyone else were here to enjoy opening presents with Beast Boy, although Raven would probably be less enthusiastic than he was. “I bought many things today” she said with a smile which dropped quickly as Beast Boy groaned in pain as he morphed back to his human form, perhaps he was hurt more than what she could see? She frowned a little staring at him as he pulled an innocent face, he was trying hard to remain happy it seemed, was it all a front for her sake? She swept her hair away from her face tucking it behind her ears breathing a deep sigh before letting her smile return to her lips as Tori came back into the room.
As Tori rummaged through her bag looking for something called Advil, what was Advil? She assumed it was something to help Beast Boy anyway, so that was all she really needed to know. She knelt down on the floor rummaging through the bags her self now trying to find the gift for him which she retrieved eventually with a cry of excitement. “I hope you like it, I spent much time trying to find something for you” she said with a smile crossing her hands behind her back sharply as she stood again leaning slightly to one side. She was bursting to tell him what the gift was, but stayed silent as best she could giggling a little as she held it out to him, all neatly wrapped with a bow.

Since I have no clue what's in there. I stopped it there at a SHORT post. XD
As soon as he spotted her, something about her had changed, but he kept a smile to her all the same only to turn back to Star. “Need some Advil?” He had no clue what exactly it was, but if it got rid of the aches then sure. "Er. Sure." BB had no idea but merely kept a smile all the same. “I bought many things today” BB held determination to find out the things she bought. He absolutely loved it when star gifted them, and he always thought he never deserved it.
He watched curiously as Star rummaged through her bag, starry eyed and desperate to find out before she whipped it out shortly. “I hope you like it, I spent much time trying to find something for you” He was almost drooling in his normal playful manner before giving a wobbly smile, ears drooped. "Eeeeeee! You didn't have to!" he took it off her in his mode of excitement before admiring the wrapping and bow.
Amazingly, he unwrapped and untied in in a gentle manner before placing the bow around his head like a ninja, laughing slightly before opening the box, slowly moving the sheets away which were inside before staring at the item inside.

"Er. Sure." If Tori hadn’t been, well, normal, she’d might have thought that Beast Boy had no idea what Advil was. The very thought was blasphemous-the international painkiller was known, well, internationally. Did they really have no idea about the simplest of generic pain pills? Luckily none of those thoughts moved through her head-it was just too unbelievable-as she sifted through her bag once again. She paused. What if there was internal bleeding? Tylenol. That would be a lot safer, until Raven came back or someone to heal him. She took out the little plastic container, dropping her back on the couch and skipping over to the kitchen unnoticed. Quickly finding the glasses, she filled two with tap water, one for herself and one for Beast Boy. Returning back to the couch, she set them on the table, raising her eyebrows and biting her lip at Beast Boy’s ninja head band. For the record, the ninjas she had met-more than she had thought, thinking back on it-never had a headband. She never thought to ask why, or even notice, but when people like Beast Boy were impersonating them…she couldn’t blame them.
“Oh, sorry Starfire, did you want something to drink?” Tori asked, suddenly remembering her manners. They were only her enemies when they were fighting, but now they were clearly her host. And she didn’t want to be a rude guest, especially if they happened to have DDR with that gynormous screen…Not to mention she thought the Titans were pretty cool. Why shouldn’t she? They saved the city-a job that she’d probably have to take up if they ever left, or all of them left. She certainly didn’t want these psychopaths running around, destroying and pillaging.
She leaned over, peeking inside the box, letting out a small laugh. The alien certainly did think about what to get her friends. A joke book was perfect for Beast Boy, and it was clear she assumed Beast Boy could read (perhaps overestimating her opponent a bit). And it didn’t look like it was one of her father’s old ones they had lying around the house, or at least she hoped it wasn’t. ‘Truly Tasteless Jokes’, only funny because of how horrible they were-when they had chapters called Helen Keller and Dead Baby jokes, you just didn’t know whether to laugh or cringe at the concept, the jokes themselves not funny in the least. Usually.

It was true, she didn’t have to buy him a present but she had wanted to and besides he seemed happy enough with it before seeing what it was, how many people would be as pleased with the outside as they would be with the inside? She giggled as he placed the bow around his head, a bow did make an interesting headband but it was perhaps more suited for a girl than a boy, but still it was entertaining to see him enjoying himself so much, even if it was merely wrapping. “The girl in the book store was most helpful, she said that this would be an appropriate gift for you when I explained your love of jokes” she said her smile widening as she watched him unwrap the last few pieces of tissue paper from it.
She had spent about an hour or so looking for something for him at the mall with little success to begin with, although Raven was usually the hardest to buy for she found it paticuarly hard to find something mostly befitting Beast Boy, and what with the book store having a sale it was one of the shops she had entered. Starfire had become quite ecstatic upon finding the joke section, skimming a few trying to stifle her laughter as she read a few aloud. Her attempt to refrain from laughing and the fact that she was reading aloud had not gone unnoticed and that was when she had asked the girl for advice and she had helped her pick out ‘Jokes for everyone’, a rather large compendium of jokes, all sorts apparently but Starfire had not skimmed the book first but was sure it was the right gift for him.
She looked to Tori as she spoke to her shaking her head gently from side to side as she asked her if she would like a drink. “No thank you Tori I am fine” she said with a little giggle, it was nice that Beast Boy had someone so nice to care for him when he had gotten hurt, she wondered exactly how she had met Beast Boy, and that was her next line of questioning for the day. “Please, how did you come to meet Beast Boy?” she asked inquisitively folding her hands behind her back again.

He almost screamed with joy before holding it in. “The girl in the book store was most helpful, she said that this would be an appropriate gift for you when I explained your love of jokes” It looked like the poor green boy was about to burst into tears before he picked up the book like it was a treasure. He made a awesome 'screeee' noise before hugging it closely. He looked back to Star with a wide smile, teeth bearing their small rows of fangs from his inner beast before without hesitation wrapped his arms around in a hug. "Thanks Star! It's awesome!" Now BB wasn't the one to go around hugging everyone. Unless.... It was something like this!
He let go of her before reading the cover and skimming through the pages quickly, trying to pick a joke out, laughing slightly to a few of them he spotted. Shortly, he looked to Tori as she returned back to the sofa with a drink in hand for both him and her. “Oh, sorry Starfire, did you want something to drink?” Taking himself to the sofa again, he sat down with it before placing the book calmly on the table next to the glass, only to pick it up and drink. “No thank you Tori I am fine” only to place the nearly finished cup down on the table again to finish later. "Thanks Tori."
Of course showing manners (if he really did have some and could be a real 'gentlemen' when he wanted to be!) “Please, how did you come to meet Beast Boy?” he picture the two girls he first met as a dog, the crossing the road, being hit by a car, making his way to the park and Tori greeting him, it all seemed to dart through his mind. He put his feet up before stretching himself, his arm feeling somewhat better, but still bruised and achy. As for the question being directed to his new friend, he would therefor let her answer, if she could tell it in anyway that sounded 'normal' but where there was BB, when was anything ever normal...
