Tori rummaged through her back. She had to have something that would shelter her from the rain. Umbrella? No, and with that lightning, not the best idea. Coat? No. Book? She didn’t want to ruin it. She had some cash, and she could always steal some more later. Maybe she’d get a cab. Or take the bus. Walking in this was really not sounding like a fun option. Maybe she should have asked the Titans for a ride. They could drive, right? Alright, so she had only seen Robin and Cyborg drive-though she vaguely recalled an incident with Beast Boy and a moped. Though that or the R-Cycle wouldn’t be useful at the moment, the idea was to avoid the rain. Although perhaps getting through it faster would be just as good, even if she did end up wet. She could always dry off later. Or if the rides were fast enough, she could jump into one of the showers in the locker-room, warm up, and change into gym clothes. She happened to like her regulation blue shorts and white shirt, thank you very much. Simple, clean, and very comfortable, and everyone just kinda doodled and stylized them however they wanted, they weren’t all the same, either. But she was just too lazy to do anything with them.
“Please, you cannot venture outside, you could catch ‘the cold’!” She stopped, turning, realizing she had been walking rather quickly. Looking back, literally and figuratively, she realized she was rather rude. She just got up and left, not even allowing them to say goodbye or anything. She didn’t think Star would come out after her, though when you could fly Tori supposed you’d use it whenever you could. "Please. Tori. You can't go...." And now even Beast Boy was coming after her. Starfire’s reason seemed legit, at least it was in her mind, of worrying for her well-being. Beast Boy’s was more of a childlike whine, and she forced herself her slight annoyance at that. She smiled at both of them, more glad that they actually cared that she was leaving, anyhow. “Guys, I have school. You know, teachers and homework and tests? It’s not like I’ll be gone forever, I’ll be back.” In one form or another… she couldn’t help adding in her head.
"You…You remind me of someone...Someone... I've met before…" Now Tori really needed to leave. So she couldn’t remind him, although she was sure how that would happen. She hiked her bag securely over her shoulder, flipping her hair back. “Umm. Sometimes people tell me I look like Princess Leto from Clash of the Planets. Went to a convention once as her.” She said, trying to be helpful. For the record, she found herself much prettier than the actress that played the Princess. And it hadn’t been her idea-her parents were total Clash of the Planets freaks, and they decided to take her together even though they had split at the time. It had been a blast, but it was too nerdy even for her, and it was obvious that she thought that, since she rolled her eyes with the statement.
